3 piece take-a-part

Has anyone converted their wood sea kayak to a 3 piece, take-a-part. (Like the Eskimo CRX)  I have a Cape Charles 17 and was considering a modification to a 3 piece.  Thank you.

I believe that Waters Dancing www.watersdancing.com has directions for a take apart Kayak. You might check with them.
