After two years of work I finally got my MC 16.5 Trimaran on the water. She's entirely home made, built from plans but the gaff rig is all my own idea. All the deck fittings, cleats, eyes and even the blocks and the sheaves within them are carved from teak. The mast is a hollow tube made with birds eye joints from douglas fir, and the spars are also hollow and slotted to take the sails. Sails are also home made, a first attempt at sailmaking.
And there's a YouTube of me sailing her (with a busted rudder!) here:
