Is there a reason not to tab with 3" fibreglass the bulheads?

Not sure what you mean by "tab," but I put 3" tape on the exterior on my (C17LT) bulkheads (i.e., on the interior - the cockpit, I simply ran the 4oz glass up onto the sides of the bulkheads, but the other side got taped). Just seemed like the logical thing to do for strength....
