Shortly before okoumefest, did I see a picture of someone spraying varnish on a kayak on this website in preparation for that event?&nbsp; Seems like a cheap way for ME to get 6-8 thin coats on a kayak without&nbsp;the usual drips and sags that I get with my roll and tip off technique.

&nbsp;I browsed the paint dept at Home Depot yesterday and spoke to the clerk who said the&nbsp;40 dollar sprayer would do a good varnish&nbsp;job on a kayak

I also saw several waterbased stains.&nbsp; Maybe we can get the color, if not the swirling grain, of sapele without the price of sapele.&nbsp;
