The Fyne Four is an English designed centerboard sailing dinghy. It is a light weight clinker style boat that is a nimble performer especially in light airs and is a classically rigged boat with a traditional gaff rig. In addition, this Fyne Four can be configured as a cutter with the addition of a second small genoa style jib in addition to the standard jib sail.
Built in 2019 using parts both imported from Fyne Boat Kits in the UK and additional parts from Chesapeake Light Craft, this boat contains five different varieties of wood used in the stich and glue/fiber glass composite construction. Sails are by Douglas Fowler with Harken sailing hardware and Samson line and cordage. Additional fittings in brass and stainless. Also fitted with a Harken self-furling jib option.
This offering also includes a Trailex SUT-250-SCLC trailer with spare tire. This is a complete ready built boat that can be towed and put in the water to enjoy immediately.
