# Is this a real canvas canoe frame or just a display?

Hello,

First time poster here. :)

Just wanted to know if you all believe this to be a legit canvas canoe frame? &nbsp;I ask just because it looks different from all other canvas canoe frames I've seen online. &nbsp;Strength wise that is?

Hello Bluestraw.&nbsp; I can not&nbsp;answer your question.&nbsp; I had a look at the link and notice it sold for about $100.&nbsp; Did you buy it?&nbsp;&nbsp; The only thing I can think to tell you is try the wooden boat forum.&nbsp; They might be able to point you in the right direction.

I found a vintage Old Town canoe a few years back.&nbsp; My brother-in-law contacted Old Town and they traced the serial number back to the original dealer, who it was made for, etc..&nbsp; They keep excellent records on&nbsp;every boat they have made.&nbsp;&nbsp;There&nbsp;should be a number on it that can be checked.
