# Question about the Cradle Boat

I am building a cradle boat and have lost the directions. Can anyone tell me whether the "seat" (the flat, egg shaped piece on the inside) gets felleted in place permanently of is left loose? Does it matter? Pros? Cons? Thanks for the help.
