Rhode Runner - Bottom Inside Face Sheathing Clarification

Regarding the length of sheathing placed on the inside of the bottom panels:

In the drawing on page 6 of the manual, the inside bottom sheathing stops before the puzzle joint.

However, the specifications say the sheathing should extend approximately 87 inches from the rear edge of the panel. This would extend the sheathing much further than depicted, covering nearly the entire puzzle joint.

What is the intent of the design?

  1. The sheathing stops before the joint (as drawn in the CLC image)?
  2. The sheathing extends 87 actual inches, thereby covering all (or nearly all) of the joint?

Gregory, you probably want to take this question to CLC customer support.

They informed me:
“Sorry for the confusion. The 87" for the fiberglass is the correct piece of information. The puzzle joints sometimes get shifted around and that is the case here.”

Problem solved.
