At the December Open House (or frozen OkoumeFest, as some of us like to call it) John gave a presentation on using lashings instead of hardware when rigging sailboats. What are the chances of that getting turned into a Shop Tip?

I second that idea. I have read a number of articles on this but my guess is that John's insights would be very helpful, particularly as regards the boats he designed.
