Wood Duck 12 launch

All,

For those of you that have helped on previous forum posts, many thanks. I though you might like to see the output of a whole load of help and advice...

Beautiful boat . . . and as you say, the mistakes and niggles are visible only to the builder (as on my NEDory). And future scratches . . . you've proven that you know how to fix them. The more you get, the more you prove that you use and love your boat.

Welcome to the fleet!

That boat turned out quite well and you have a lovely place to paddle it. Definitely get a good paddle, it makes all the difference. Some builders here swear by the Greenland paddle, which has the advantage of being cheap and easy to build, but I went with a bent-shaft carbon fiber Werner and never regretted it. Either way, you'll be happier than with cheap bendy one.

Hope you enjoy your boat for a long time,

Laszlo

Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a lot of fun.

I like your tie down solution using the hole saw.

I had wanted to avoid screws and had been thinking of homebuilding some cleats, but this is great. I may do something like this.
