thinking of building (first timer) the shearwater 17 hybrid to use in the Missouri River 340 mile race this summer. Whitewater enthusiast with experience in the mountain rivers of western North Carolina but a first time participant in the MR340. What do you think of the boat choice for that race? Any other suggestions, helpful hints, training ideas for that race are more than welcome
