Hello everyone! I am a lifelong kayak and canoe enthusiast and I am super stoked to be a part of such a great community. I build my first boat at the young age of 6, my father and restored a 11 foot fiberglass tender I found in lake michigan. The first wood project was a 1919 Old Town sailboat, and the latest was a 1921 old town canoe. i have been building boats in my whole adult life and I see a wooden yak in my very near future. First I have to finish my 17 cc.
