Greetings. I built the Bolger /Payson “Nymph” (7’ 9"), a little praam, several years ago and I have been thinking about a bigger boat ever since. I am now varnishing my new Passagemaker. Can’t decide whether to cut it or not so I built in the double bulkhead and sealed it over with pox. I’ll try it out and if it gets too heavy and clumsy to manhandle as I age, I’ll chop it down to size.
