I have just glued together the sheer clamps for my CLC17.5 sea kayak. i haven’t begun to attach them to the hull sides. They are not straight. the wood appears warped. To practice, I dry clamped them to the hull resting on my work surface. With enough clamps the sheers can be made to follow the line i’ve measured on the hulk (3/4 inch in from edge leaving 1/4in.‘proud’). Will this hopelessly draw the rest of the hull out of alignment once they are glued? The warp was sufficient in one area (not very much ,but some) so that the "proud’ edge of the sheer is actually flush with the to edge of the hull panel. will any of this matter? thanks for your help!
