hi, new to the group here. I’ve been wanting to build a boat for years and really like clc designs and methods. I’m an organic produce farmer and 19th century woodworker at a histoic state park. so I’m poor but handy. I also live in on 250 acres of beautiful hardwood forest and own a sawmill. Which, long route, gets me to my question: has anybody built a lap stitch and glue boat using real boards? White oak would be my preferance.
