I made a big mistake as was nearing the finish line and don’t know how to solve the problem. On the deck of my mill creek I poured some epoxy. It was 90% cured when I hit the top with some steel wool to prep it for varnish. I then did a coat of varnish. What I have now is semi cured varnish in some areas and dried but cracked and wrinkled varnish in other places. Should I get some mineral spirits and attempt to take al the varnish off and then sand again to the base? I feel like an idiot as I was 99% done, but if you have any suggestions before I screw it up more, it would be much appreciated.
