I am planning on building the Annapolis Wherry at the class in the spring of 2018. What make and model oars have others purchased to go with the Piantadosi Drop In rig. I am a 6' 2" male. I would like something more advanced than a simple symetrical blade having experienced those in a prior craft. I have not seen any discussion on the forum on this matter.
I am finishing up a tandem wherry. I asked the same question of my roommate from school, a former US national rower. He said go with the hatch blades.
