The guy who gave it to me said that the guy he got it from said he built it from a set of plans 8-10 years ago. He said he thought the guy bought the plans from CLC but it not sure. It is exactly 16 feet long and 21" wide.

Sorry I apparently didn't insert the pic right.
Here is the direct link I can't figure out how to post a pic on here.

looks like it could be a merganser hull with a strip deck and some modification to slightly round the bow and stern knuckles.
the width is right for a merganzer (21 inches). but it is about 6 inches short of the design length based on reviewing the specs.
will be interesting to see what others come up with.

he now does his kits with CLC.
Thanks, I initially thought it was a Shearwater 16 which I understand is an updated version of Eric Shade's Merganser but it is 2" too narrow and 2" too short.
It does look like a Merganser with the corners rounded off. When I built my Merganser, I rounded them off like the Shearwater with Eric's permission. I find the rounded ends are less likely to get messed up by hard landings on launching ramps and rocky shores. -Wes
Hey guys thanks for the responses, I finally found out what it is and it is actually none of the above. It is Cirrus LT Hybrid built from plans from One Ocean Kayaks.
