Completed a CH 17 kayak June 10, 2010

After 6 months completed the kayak. Thanks to you all who respond to the forum. A special thanks to Larry, who I followed each of his build steps and to Laszlo for much insight into the building process. Boat went into the water on June 11 and did not sink. Attached is my first kayak at 68 yrs. old.

Quickstart,

Very, very nice!  Looks eerily like my own... only with less bungee cords (and that's a good thing!).

Glad the first "dip" went well; enjoy, and many happy paddles.  Don't be a stranger to the site - your new-found insights will help other first-timers along the way.
