Do I sand the skin back to the bulkhead? Wouldn’t that leave a gap in the boat the thickness of the rubber seal when the boat is assembled. Maybe just seal bulkheads and leave the extra skin on?
I used an 1/8 inch extension bit to drill guide holes. Maybe a larger bit would have guided better between transoms.
