Hello, I’m building a Wood Duck 12 Hybrid from plans. I just installed the King Plank stips down the center of the boat. Should the strips be fastened to the apron, or is it just a dry butt joint? I’m thinking it should be connected with glue or epoxy, but I don’t really know. If it’s not glued, when I remove the top won’t the apron just fall out? Thanks for everyones help.
Yes you should glue the strips to the apron. I used the same glue as I used for all the strips. ( Tight Bond original )
