When fiber glassing the centerboard on the pocketship do I wrap the fiberglass around the edges? It seems that would give it more strength. In the book it looks like they just lay it on and end at the edge.
I did on the leading edge. You have the option of filling a rabbet on the leading edge with hardened epoxy, too, which would be stronger than fiberglass cloth anyway. The trailing edge isn't rounded so the fiberglass wouldn't lie flat, so I just trimmed it off and made sure the plywood ends were well-sealed in epoxy.
