I just did my first section of filleting and epoxying the inside of the hull. I started witht the bow section and have already learned a few things for the next 2 sections. My question is after the 2nd coat is done, I still have some rough areas that I would like to smoothen out so its not so abraisive feeling. If I sand it though (say 80 grit) it will turn grey or white and wont be clear anymore. I would prefer not to use more epoxy. Any suggestions on how to keep the coating clear while also knocking down any high points? Thanks. Adam
A light coat of semi-gloss or rubbed effect varnish will renew the clarity and not add as much weight as epoxy. SEEYA Jack
