Jib Sail On NE Dory With Lug Sail?

Just for the fun of it has anyone thought about adding a jib sail (like on the sloop rig) to a lug-rig NE Dory?

It would pull the center of effort too far forward. The boat would exhibit nasty lee-helm.  You'd have to move the mast a couple of feet aft to add a jib.

Note the steep mast rake and long boom in the sloop version to mitigate this.
