I just received a Chesapeake 16 LT kit and it has puzzle joints. From an e-mail from CLC and according to another post on this site CLC is gradually changing from scarf joints to puzzle joints in their kits. I suggest you call them directly if you haven’t already and ask the question. Their customer service is great.
