Got a chance to enjoy my new kayak today and spent some quality time with my daughter. Doesn't get much better than that. Eventually I will build a second kayak so she won't need a rental.

Is this the boat with the wooden tractor style seat?
If so, how is the comfort?

The "tractor" seat bottom has been quite comfortable, but I did swap out the wooden seat back for a fabric backband. I have spent a total of about 12 hours of paddling in the kayak so far, including about 4 hours yesterday and I have been happy with it.
I think the wood seat back could be made to work, but it the angle of contact with my back was not quite right. I may try to rework it at some point, but for now, I am too busy using the kayak
