lighthouse tender peapod or skerry raid

Hello,

i want a small boat with a yawl rig. The peapod looks nice but i would like something that is decked and has watertight storage compartments. The skerry raid has that but not the yawl rig that i like. What would be easier to do, deck the peapod or put a yawl rig on the skerry. I am leaning towards the skerry and feel that it wouldn[t be that complicated to move the main mast step forward of the compartment hatch and it appears that i could put the mizzen mast after the compartment hatch. Does this sound reasonable? thanks

Decking the peapod would add a tremendous amount of weight to an already heavy boat, I wouldn't recommend that option.

How about using a fitted canvas cover to give you a soft deck? I am thinking of a CLCL Lighthouse Peapod as a potential camp cruiser.
