It took me almost two years, and it's not perfect, but it's all mine.

Yes, Adam, those are some pretty glaring imperfections. Surprised you didn't have a Viking funeral. Seriously, beautiful boat, I particularly like the way you used the light and dark walnut. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the next boat. You know there will be another, right?

It looks pretty damn good to me Adam.
I tell everybody that my Skerry is the best boat in this area. When they question it I tell them "Because it's mine!"
I hope you have some great times with it.
Really beautiful. Don't tell anyone about your "mistakes, Just smile and say thanks when they compliment your work.
Looks like a great boat to introduce the kiddies to kayaking!
Congratulations, that is some beautiful woodwork. What is the dark planking made from?
-Jeff
Thank you. The darkest wood is the walnut you can get from CLC, and the medium dark wood is old walnut that was reclaimed in home renovation.
Beautiful boat. Do I see a blue baby seat being attached to the front deck on a bright green pedestal? What's up with that?
Jeff
Nope, thats just my kids swing in the background.
What a beautiful boat! You did some nice work there.
Thanks for all the kind words, I really appriciate it. Here is the first outing and a link to the time lapse build if anyone wants to see it.
