It’s a bit of a slow morning for me at work today. Sitting at my workstation enjoying a cup of coffee, and day dreaming of using my Dory. One of the minor issue I have been thinking through is my choice to car top my Dory. I am not regretting that decision, on the contrary. Just trying to make it better/easier. My biggest “hang up” literally is how the oar locks “Hang up” on the racks as the boat slides on. I am thinking about recessing the oar locks down into the rails so they present a smooth surface. Just trying to picture this in my head, I don’t think that would cause an interference with the oars? I wish I could run home and take a closer look.
