Hey guys I just bought a NE Dory and it came setup as a sloop rig. I believe I’m missing a few pieces to the puzzle. My question is; are there any videos showing how to setup the sloop rig and also rig it for sailing? It will need some new pulleys and rope as well trying to find something that can point me in the right direction. I’m new to sailing so any help is appreciated!
You could check out the official Northeaster Dory rigging guide from Chesapeake Light Craft. They have PDFs and videos that walk through setting up a sloop rig, including pulley and rope layouts. It’s very beginner friendly.
