Hi all,
I have a 16 ft classic style canoe with uniroyal hull and wooden trim, gunnels, end caps and seat frames. it handles an Old Town sailing lateen sailing rig well with lee boards and rudder, but its still tippy. I mounted a 2.3 hp honda motor on a rear bracket by the seat and she is real tippy!. considering adding a CLC outrigger and wondering if anyone has succesfully done this. thinking one outrigger would do it, on the motor side. The CLC kkyak outrigger kit looks like a good one.
any ideas or thoughts?
