I recently got a CLC Passagemaker that was built around 2009-2010. Still in good shape. Really just needs some fluff & buff except for one major issue. The base of the gaff/yard, the ‘Y’ portion that rests against the upper mast, is broken off on 1 side. Not sure if this is fixable, or if I need to look into a whole new gaff/yard. Anybody dealt with similar situation or have any ideas. Thanks. Richard
If it’s a clean break, I would think you could glue it together with Titebond 3. Maybe drill a couple of small holes and insert dowels also. If the two pieces don’t fit well together, epoxy could work.

Appreciate the feedback. Good ideas. Biggest problem is it wasn’t a ‘clean’ break, and the broken off piece is lost somewhere in history. Thinking I may have to create a new ‘piece’ and try
to graft it on, or abandon the repair and maybe go with some sort of strap to hold it against the mast. My little brain is still sorting thru the pros & cons……….. Stay tuned.
