I’m currently rigging my Pocketship, and I have two questions. First is how to rig the reefing line. This is not mentioned in the instructions. Is it just a mirror image of the outhaul? Would it make any sense to build a reefing comb on such a small boat? Does it require any mechanical advantage?
My second question is can I just lace the sail to the gaff instead of installing track? It looks like this stays attached most of the time (I would still use the track on the mast).
