This is my first boat i would like to use the bright colors on the puzzle pieces and would like any advise to complete this will wood stain give this much color or can i paint the parts

DO NOT use an oil-based stain, such as Minwax. The oil will penetrate the wood and prevent the epoxy from curing. Analine dyes are water-based, and will penetrate the wood deeply, leaving no residue.
