Good point about reefing. I mentioned in another thread that I take a reef in on the Pocketship much earlier than the rule of thumb. I’m not a racer; I sail to relax. Now, it’s fine if I dip the rubrail once in a while, as long as it’s well controlled. I don’t like having to be on my toes about the next gust.
