Seeking opportunity to test paddle Mill Creek 13

Having just reread Ted Moore’s Kayaks You Can Build, am eager to embark on the home-built project of the CLC Mill Creek 13.

Is there anyone in eastern Ontario that has this little stitch and glue number?

If so, could I test paddle it somehow?

I could seek you out and then be confident in my choice. I am sure this opportunity would be worth at least a nice bottle or red or white wine, perhaps a rosé. If you are near Kingston or Ottawa and could help me, please be in touch,

Up in News and Events they list the demonstration paddles where you can test CLC's fleet. You could  sign in and  search the "Builders Club" and find an owner closest to you and message them.
