Shearwater hybrid hatches

Hi,

I just finished cutting out the hatches on my Shearwater 17 hybrid.

Should I glass the hatch edges, or just coat with epoxy? The manual doesn't mention this.

A few coats of epoxy should do the trick.  Make sure to coat the end grain well.
