I will soon be launching my Expedition Wherry and its performance rowing rig. I enjoy rowing as quietly as possible with my leathered oars in my traditional Whitehall. With the squared face of a modern sleeve and collar is it possible to row silently or is there always a “clunk” with each stroke. Thanks in advance, John
