Whoops! advice needed

While standing up my boat outside to do the end pours, the wind blew it over.  It bounced off the corner of my electric meter and caused the damage in the picture.  It is just epoxy at this point, no varnish.  Is there a way to fix my mistake, or do I just have to live with it?

Looks to me that you could feather the edges of the hole, fill it with epoxy and resand. No one will ever notice (except you)
