The manual doesn't say anything about going back to put fill coats on the underside of the deck (Shearwater). Since I sanded the rough edges where layers overlapped, I'll put at a second coat on those, for sure. Since I am paranoid, I'll put a 2nd coat in the cockpit. But is a second or third coat necessary in the stern and bow compartments?

Assuming you do not have holidays a couple of coats on undersides not exposed to water, sun etc. Would be plenty.
It is not needed but if you add them it would make for a smoth interior and could be easier on gear stored under the deck or just it could be just an esthetic feature.
Thanks, guys. I do want to make sure the FGlass is sealed up, so I did a 2nd coat and now I can't even remember if I did a third coat in the cockpit area... weird. gettin old! ;-)
