Selling an almost new 19’ Cedar Strip CLC Expedition Single home-built kayak as a fundraiser for a kayak club located in Anacortes, WA. Greg Routt, the kayak’s builder/owner sadly passed away after only paddling it for 60 days. His wife will donate all the proceeds to Hole in the Wall Paddling Club in his honor. The typical way to phrase that you are open to offers is OBO, aka, Or Best Offer which you have already noted. “We’re ready to take whatever someone is willing to pay” is more blunt :smiley: and certainly gets the message across.

Your price is more than fair though and the intent to donate the funds in honor of the builder makes it worth keeping to your asking price, IMHO. Be patient and advertise locally as well. Of course, do as you need to do. Best wishes to a successful outcome. Sorry about Greg. My condolences to his wife, family and friends.
