CLC Teardrop w/Integrated Cargo Trailer $9500

Pristine Teardrop Trailer built in 2018 at Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC) by owner under CLC supervision and with most factory options. More pictures available.

First time offered for sale. Lightly used with trips through western national and state parks, and campgrounds. Always garaged in Marana, AZ when not using.

Just began search so CLC was my start point. Figuring you have found a new home for your Hawkbill by this point. She’s beautiful!

If not, im curious with the storage box, added layer, fulll galley build out plus trailer what’s the total weight?

Thanks, Caroline

I haven’t weighed it since I did to register it eight years ago. I think with the galley and the box it was about 650. The storage probably added another 50-75 lbs. It towed fine with my Subaru Crossfit, and now with my Subaru Outback.

And it’s still for sale. If you’re interested make a reasonable offer!

Hey there, shipmate! Just noted the SSN-666/Hawkbill on your teardrop. I hope you’re living the good life out west.

Thanks. Hawkbill was big for me. It was where I learned to pronounce “submariner” and not sleep. The teardrop is so roomy compared to our racks.

Hello Lee,
My apologies for the delay getting back with you. As a 5 ft nothing camper, proportion and height are critical for me. While beautiful, I ve determined that your rig is just too tall for me. My daughter also built a CLC teardrop which I love. Her’s is the basic pod sitting directly on the trailer frame. Unfortunately, the extra layer puts the galley too high for me to comfortably use.
Thanks for your time.
Caroline

Thanks for the response. The extra layer does raise both the kitchen and the access doors so that the step is needed, or at least very useful. Also, it makes it easier for the Cairn Terrier that travels with me to jump in!
