festool, fein vacs?

I did some checking on the BPA health risk issue.

From everything I have read, it's a health scare with no scientific basis.  It appears that it is being kept alive by the news media, conspiracy theorists, and political ideologues who are simply quoting each other about the existence of "reports" and "arguments", without being able to produce any facts.

The FDA's report states that "based on all available evidence, the present consensus among regulatory agencies in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan is that current levels of exposure to BPA through food packaging do not pose an immediate health risk to the general population, including infants and babies."

Here's are links for those who would like more info.

Originally, I was going to say that the good-looking guy with the beard was me and that the "figurehead" was one that Camper mader while looking in a mirror, but the truth is:

1. I am indeed the one in the boat.

2. The image is a composite of one from  an Annapolis Demo Night. It was made by Matt at CLC as part of a very witty response to a post I made about the WindPaddle collapsible sail rig.
