First-Time Builder from Uruguay Seeking Guidance for Northeaster Dory

Hello everyone,

I’m from Uruguay and very interested in building the Northeaster Dory. This would be my first time constructing a boat, and I have no prior experience. I’d love to know if anyone could provide me with a detailed guide of the necessary materials for the build.

One of my main concerns is about certain supplies like resin, as I’m not sure if I’ll be able to source them locally. I would also greatly appreciate a comprehensive materials list, with specific details such as the exact number of clamps required or any other specific items I should be aware of.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you are probably unaware of the materials list for plans builders that CLC publishes for most if not all plans.  Take a look:
