Glass in deck plugs

Have any of you ever used glass in deck plugs?

Found these they look intriguing.  Not sure If they are worth the extra effort.  But I really like the idea of not having attachement points that stick up off the deck of my Kaholo.

Huh... never seen those before. Neat concept!

I'd like to see some pics of them actually having been installed.
