Jimmy skiff 2 foredeck mounting questions

Wife and I are slowly putting together a jimmy skiff 2 kit.

The instructions and photos are a bit vague on fitting/fastening the foredeck in the bow of the boat.

The foredeck is supported in the rear by the foreward bulkhead.

If I have interpreted the photos, it appears that the curve of the hull forward of the bulkhead provides initial support for the foredeck. Fillets are then applied to provide permanent support.

There are two small horizontal drill holes in the hull on both sides at about the level that the foredeck lies in the boat. There are no instructions concerning these holes. Am I supposed to stitch the foredeck on each side? There are no corresponding holes on the foredeck.

I am somewhat concerned about no support other than the hull curvature to hold the foredeck in place untill fillets are placed and cure.

Any help or hints are much appreciated.

Thanks
