My wife just called me from home. We have a high wind storm raging through our area. She went out to rescue a garbage can and found my NE Dory off its cart, on its side and resting against my pickup. Well I wonder what I will find when I get home. I bet I will be patching and painting some nasty scrapes. At least I hope that is all.
Maybe CLC should consider expanding into homebuilt aircraft...
Well that stinks, you must live in the midwest too.

Nope Southern Idaho
CLC makes a pretty tough boat that's for sure! I came home, flipped the boat over, got it back on its cart. No real damage that I can see. A few scuffs but nothing that will even need repainting!
CLC makes a mighty nice kit. YOU made a mighty tough boat! Congrats!
A strap on the cart might be a good idea.
If you boat breaks, you can swim. If your plane breaks, can you fly? :-)
More seriously, John once mentioned that they use their CNC machine to cut wing ribs and such for kit aircraft builders on a contract basis.
Laszlo
It was held to the cart with bungie cords. Boat and cart went flying. For now, my Dory gets to live in the garage. Later it will get a mini shed in the back yard, once I finish building the boat…and the shed.
Well I've allways had my eye on one of these!
