I'm a firm believer in "If a little is good, a lot must be better." Not so with stitch and glue. I got a bit generous with glueing my grandaughter's Cradle Boat. (Gotta be finished before 4/26/11!)
Solution: Plastic melts, so warm up the wire a bit to break the wire/glue bond. I used a very fine point electric soldering gun. Clip or break off the twist. Heat the wire carefully from the outside (if you burn the wood, it can be painted) until it discolors slightly. From the inside, grip the wire with your pliers and pull gently; the stitch will slide right out.
I love CLC!
