I am about to close up my single ama for one of my sailing canoes.
Need to finalize bulkheads and am thinking that I might consider a means of lashing the ama to the akas in lie of the mechanical fasteners shown in my plan.
Has anyone experimented with a means of lashing using this ama and, if so, what type of above deck fitting on the ama might be appropriate?
