After some questions about the build, I’m finally making some good progress. Currently working on block planning the shear clamps.
I’ve made a bit more progress. End pours are done, and the foot braces have been fitted. It was great to finally sit in the boat, if only on the ground. I chose to use bronze hardware instead of the stainless screws supplied in the kit. I tapped the foot braces for 1/4-20 and will have an acorn nut on the inside as well. Preparing to do the decks. I think I can do the aft deck alone, but will try and get some help with the fore deck.
Continuing to make progress. But had to stop after attaching the rear deck for an out of town trip. Did a dri fit of the forward deck
looking good brings back memories. i built several of the CLC 17LTs and never completed one without bending at least one nail when i nailed the foredeck on…yours looks error free. nice work!
